Gigi is one of the founders of OAGN. She was born in Isabela and grew up in Manila, Philippines. She immigrated to the U.S.A with her family in 1990.
Gigi studied Business Administration at University of Hawaii in Honolulu and Non-Profit Management at University of Washington in Tacoma. Her passion is to equip disadvantaged families and/or small communities. She has volunteered in orphanages, schools and clinics in the Philippines, Nepal and Peru.
Gigi previously served as the Treasurer on the board of directors for WPPC Nepal Foundation (now the Friends of WPC Nepal).
Gigi resides in Washington State and works in the Finance Department for an outdoor equipment retail company.
Michael was born in the Philippines. His family moved to the US when he was a child.
Michael is a volunteer leader for the AWANA at Highlands Community Church. He has a passion for helping children and sharing God’s love through practical application. He is dedicated to providing disadvantages children and families opportunities for a better future.
He currently lives in Washington State with his wife and five children.
Faith has been involved in numerous volunteer positions and non-profit organizations focused on helping children for more than 20 years. She taught children art in Oregon, tutored low-income students in Chicago, and provided enrichment activities for children living at the SonRise House (part of SUGM) in the Seattle area.
She previously served on the board of directors for WPPC Nepal Foundation (now the Friends of WPC Nepal), an NGO dedicated to supporting trafficking survivors and children in Nepal.
Faith has a degree in Psychology from Wheaton College and has over 20 years of experience as a marketing manager in retail, entertainment and travel.
Lheila Hasegawa, Co-Founder
Lheila graduated from University of Hawaii and currently works as a Legal Secretary. She has previously served on the Board of Directors for OAGN. Lhelia dedicates her time to her son and lives in Hawaii.
Ai-Hong Lee, Co-Founder
Ai-Hong is originally from Malaysia and immigrated to the U.S.A. She currently resides in Texas. She has previously volunteered as the OAGN Academic Programs Committee Director. Ai-Hong believes that every child deserves an education and should be given the opportunity.
Mike and Joy Florian, Leyte Program Directors
Joy and Mike have been involved in charitable work in Leyte, Philippines for over ten years. They assist in programs that benefit impoverished families, particularly children in Leyte. They currently reside in Washington state.
Robert T., Fundraiser and Volunteer Coordinator
Robert currently resides in Washington State. He’s actively involved in the planning and coordinating of fundraiser events.
An Norris, Financial Manager
An is originally from Vietnam. She graduated from University of Kentucky. She is passionate about education and charity work. She currently lives in Washington with her husband and son.
Janelle Cortez, Webmaster
Janelle graduated from Washington State University with a BA in Digital Technology and Culture. She is currently working at Seattle University as a Service Desk Technician.
